John Connor has been living "off the grid" for more than ten years after "Terminator 2," meaning that future Terminators are unable to find him. Regretfully, SkyNet does manage to send back another one, which goes by the name of T-X and is considerably more potent and sophisticated than the terrifying T-1000. To defend John from the T-X, nevertheless, another CSM-101 Terminator is also dispatched back. Presently, Skynet is gradually taking over civilian computer networks by pretending to be a computer virus. John has also met Kate Brewster, the woman he will marry. Her father, a general in the US Air Force, is in control of the military's computer networks and is cautious about uplinking SkyNet.
