The second movie, which is helmed by Francis Lawrence, follows Peeta and Katniss as they navigate the fallout from winning the Hunger Games. Discontent in the districts simmers as they set out on a victory tour, and a rebellion starts to take shape. A new set of obstacles is introduced in the 75th Hunger Games, also referred to as the Quarter Quell, forcing Katniss and her allies to face the Capitol's growing power.
