Bella hopes to spend her birthday with Edward and his family after she heals from the vampire attack that nearly took her life. For the sake of Bella and Edward, the Cullens decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington, when a small accident during the festivities results in Bella shedding blood. Bella, who is first devastated, takes solace in living a carefree lifestyle and developing a stronger bond with Jacob Black. There's danger ahead in several sorts.
