The movie centers on Bill Murray's character, Orange Tabby Cat Garfield, who is a slothful and loves lasagna. When Breckin Meyer's character, Jon Arbuckle, brings home a new puppy named Odie, Garfield's cozy life is upended. Odie threatens Garfield at first, but he gradually wins him over.
