Michael B. Jordan's character Adonis Creed has been doing well in his profession and personal life since he took over the boxing world. After serving a lengthy prison sentence, childhood buddy and former boxing prodigy Damian (Jonathan Majors) reappears, and he is desperate to show that he deserves a chance to compete. There's more to the altercation between ex-friends than meets the eye. Adonis needs to fight Damian—a fighter with nothing to lose—in order to settle the score, risking his future in the process.
