The protagonist of the tale is Adonis Creed, who is committed to become a professional boxer and carrying on his late father's legacy. Adonis, who was raised in a wealthy family, yet encounters difficulties and looks to Rocky Balboa for guidance. Rocky and the young boxer form a mentor-student bond as a result of his agreement to train him.
