The protagonist of the tale is Johnny English, a MI7 agent who finds himself the sole person allowed to look into the Crown Jewels robbery when the agency's top agents are unintentionally killed. Johnny English sets out to thwart French billionaire Pascal Sauvage (John Malkovich) from stealing the Crown Jewels and toppling the British government, despite his lack of expertise and unusual methods.
