The story of Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson), a German industrialist looking for commercial prospects in Kraków, Poland, takes place during World War II. Schindler establishes a factory employing Jewish labor, first driven by profit and making use of the cheap labor supplied by the Nazis. Schindler experiences a significant metamorphosis as he observes the horrific treatment of Jews and the Holocaust.
