Two hitmen, Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson), are on a mission to recover a bag that was taken from their boss, mob leader Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames). A few days later, when Wallace will be out of town, Wallace has also requested Vincent to take his wife Mia (Uma Thurman) out. Wallace pays veteran boxer Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) to lose his match. These seemingly unconnected people's lives are interwoven with a plethora of odd, humorous, and unnecessary events.
