The little, made-up town of Edda, where the television show is based, is going through strange environmental changes and weather patterns. After just moving to Edda with his family, Magne Seier, an adolescent, learns that he possesses unique powers. With the use of these Norse mythological powers, Magne quickly learns that he is vital to the survival of the community.
