Bond is now living a peaceful life in Jamaica after leaving active duty. His tranquility is disturbed when CIA agent Felix Leiter, an old buddy, shows up and requests assistance. Bond finds himself trailed by an enigmatic antagonist equipped with lethal new technology when the mission to free a scientist who has been kidnapped proves to be far more treacherous than anticipated.
