Shosanna Dreyfus, a teenage Jewish refugee in German-occupied France, watches as Colonel Hans Landa massacres her family. A few years after almost fleeing with her life, she plans her retaliation after German war hero Fredrick Zoller shows a quick interest in her and sets up an important film premiere at the theater she now owns. The gathering attracts the attention of the "Basterds," a gang of Jewish-American guerilla warriors under the brutal leadership of Lt. Aldo Raine, who promise the attendance of every key Nazi official. Their paths will cross for a fateful evening that will rock the very pages of history, as the murderous executioners press on and the cunning little girl's plans are put into action.
