The story follows Wallachian Prince Vlad III Tepes (played by Luke Evans) in the fifteenth century. Vlad is a former warrior renowned for his ruthless and potent fighting strategies. But Vlad is forced to make a difficult decision when the Ottoman Empire wants a thousand Wallachian lads, including Vlad's son, as tribute for their army.
