The narrative takes place before to "Avengers: Infinity War" and following the events of "Captain America: Civil War." The Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff, is forced to face her past while she is on the run. She makes contact with her old group of friends, which consists of Russian agents known as the Red Room and other skilled assassins.
